Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number and its country, and your password (stored only as a hash) when you create an account.
• Payment information: the card details, cardholder name and billing address you enter at checkout (or the name, email and phone number a local payment method asks for) are passed to our payment processor to take the payment; we do not store them. We keep the amount, currency, status and transaction ID of each payment, the IP address it was made from, and your credit balance.
• Machine and usage data: the machines you deploy (tier, status, start and stop times), the connection details issued to them, and the credits each one used.
• Technical data: your IP address and the country looked up from it, browser type and device information, collected when you visit, sign up, sign in or pay, to keep accounts safe and to refuse sign-ups from the countries we do not serve.
• Messages to support: what you write to support@cloudrig.space and our replies.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and maintain the CloudRig service.
• To process payments and manage your credit balance.
• To send transactional emails such as verification codes, password resets, low-balance warnings, and payment receipts. We do not send marketing emails.
• To monitor for abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties only as needed to operate the service:

• GPU infrastructure partner: provides the GPU cloud infrastructure that powers CloudRig virtual machines. Machine configuration and session data is shared to provision and manage your VMs.
• Payment processor: processes all payments. The payment details you enter at checkout are passed to it and handled under its own privacy policy.
• Email delivery provider: delivers our transactional emails on our behalf; it receives your email address and the message.
• Product analytics provider: only if you accept Analytics cookies. It receives the pages you view, clicks, the referring website or campaign link, approximate location derived from your IP address, and, if you are signed in, your account ID, name and email.
• Hosting and database providers: host the website and store account, machine and payment data in the United States.
• Team messaging app: alerts about sign-ups, sign-ins and payments (email, name, IP address and country) go to our team's messaging app, so we can spot fraud and help customers quickly.

4. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. A stopped machine's disk is kept for 24 hours and then deleted. If you delete your account, we delete it straight away together with everything linked to it: your machines, payments and billing history. Our database is hosted in the United States.

5. Your Rights

• Access: you can download a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time from Settings → Export My Data.
• Correction: you can update your account information at any time from your dashboard.
• Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, without contacting support, from Settings → Delete Account.
• Portability: you can export your data in a machine-readable JSON format at any time from Settings → Export My Data.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please contact us at support@cloudrig.space.
